Very Happy Family
We are very pleased with the performance of this Panasonic 37inch plasma TV which has now been in use for two weeks. It arrived quickly by courier and it was just a matter of unplugging the two scart plugs from my old 32inch lcd TV and inserting them into the new. The family were very happy with the factory settings and urged me not to fiddle with them just yet. Why only four stars? Well I haven’t fully utilised HD yet as I am in the process of updating my Sky+ to Sky HD and won’t be getting HD pictures until then. I chose Plasma because I consider it to be a bit softer on the eyes. One thing we did notice is that there is a reflection from the glass protecting the plasma screen which only my wife can see because she sits directly in front of it but she says it doesn’t affect her viewing when the TV is switched on. I did notice that the large plasma screens in pubs, restaurants, etc also show a reflection but no one else seemed to notice until I pointed it out to them...... Read more

Superb HD Ready Plasma TV
Ordered on the Sunday and it arrived on Wednesday, so service was excellent on free Super Saver Delivery. Fairly straightforward to get the stand assembled and it looked good even before I switched it on. Looks classy with the minimalist border around the screen. Start-up menu could have been explained better but soon had all the Freeview channels stored. The picture was good enough on standard definition but nothing could have prepared me for the clarity and detail of High Definition through my Sky+HD box. Colours were pure and punchy and sharp both for sport and nature. Sound from the TV was far better than I expected though I will get a Dolby Digital system later...... Read more

Fantastic Picture
This is model is based on the latest Plasma technology. Samsung have branded their latest installment as series-4. I got this C450 last weekend and am very pleased with it. The best price/performance I think you’ll find at present. I wasn’t looking at 1080P as I prefer as good a contrast ratio as possible and 1080P screens at the lower price point have poor contrast ratio.
I’m not sure what the last review was on about! I’ve never had a problem with Plasma screens and besides the electonics in most (if not all) TVs are shielded to prevent causing or receiving interference. I have a phone line and internet router sat very close to the screen, no problems...... Read more

Excellent motion resolution and black level makes this a steal
This is the best TV in this price range and is likely to remain so until Panasonic release an updated model next year. I calibrated and reviewed one of these for a pro review site and was delighted with the final result. The NeoPDP panel means you’ll get blacks, motion clarity, and viewing angle that LCDs can’t touch, plus the THX picture preset means you can have good quality images straight out of the box without further setup.
