awesome tv!
This TV is great!… had been looking for a good Tv for a few months i looked at alot and i narrowed my choice down to this, the samsung 32b6000 and the sony 32w5810. i then noticed the samsung had an auto dimming setting that could not be turned off. This was quite annoying and did not look good. i then decided to buy the 32w5810 as it was on offer for £500. when i got it home and played some games there was huge input lag and many artifacts with the 100hz motionflow turned on! this was one of the setting i really wanted to look good, so i returned the 32w5810 and exchanged for this! it was £200 more expensive but in my opinion worth it! the internet features are good tho not alot of choice at the moment! picture quality is outstanding, coulors are perfect!
sound is better than most LCD tvs i have seen. looks are cool aliminium strip at bottom is a nice touch. very easy to use menu, and no input lag on games! only negative things i have to say about this set is that motionflow could be a little smoother, menu load times a little quicker and Freview HD isnt available in alot of places yet. Tho the freeview website said i wouldnt be able to receive it and i can looks amazing! would highly recommend this TV to anyone!..... Read more

I calibrated and reviewed one of these for a pro review site and was delighted with the final result. Being a Blu ray fan I have got a PS3 and SONY BDP-S300 player.
When I got my BDP-S350 from Amazon I was amazed by this player`s quality and presentation! It was really easy to set up and the remote was easy to navigate around. I quickly fed it IRON MAN on blu ray, and was Blown away by the picture quality! compared to my PS3, i would say that the BDP-S350 has the edge over the PS3 in terms of picture, as the edges are more sharper and colours more vibrant! I then tried CASINO ROYALE and again the picture quality was nothing short of astounding! incredible detail and depth of field, I was gobsmacked.
Its a very slim (4cm high!)machine and it looks very tidy and will compliment your LCD or Plasma very well, Sony have always produced products that are good looking as they are performing.

Simply stunning
The way this TV upscales standard Freeview TV and standard DVDs is hugely impressive (provided you’ve got a strong off-air signal and a decent DVD player). It’s such a relief to realise that I don’t have to throw away my (large) DVD collection, and can enjoy them all over again with near BluRay quality. It’s also the first TV I’ve ever owned which gave me perfect pictures staight out of the box, with no “tweaking” needed. It has literally transformed my viewing experience. But be warned – it gives poor quality digital TV signals (notably standard Sky boxes) and “budget” BluRay players very short shrift – you’d be far better off sticking with a high-quality DVD player than switching to a low-quality BluRay player. The other faults all relate to its super-thin dimensions. Whilst its thinness will draw gasps from your friends and make it perfect for wall-mounting, its tiny speakers are next to worthless, the absence of SCART sockets is a pain (just one mini SCART socket), and the rim-mounted LEDs mean that contrast is low on very dark scenes (the end credits on many films and TV programmes – white letters on a black background – look more like light grey on a black background). But I can live with that, given its plasma-like blacks, low power consumption, and excellent contrast in all but the darkest scenes...... Read more
