HDMI is a high-capacity interface that transfers High Definition pictures and surround sound in a single cable without compressing them first, ensuring no loss in quality. That means you can easily hook up a VIERA U2 LCD TV to a Panasonic Blu-ray Disc™ Player or a LUMIX digital camera via an HDMI cable and enjoy High Definition films – with a stunning picture and sound. The Panasonic VIERA U2 LCD TVs are equipped with two HDMI ports...... Read more

Fantastic Picture
This is model is based on the latest Plasma technology. Samsung have branded their latest installment as series-4. I got this C450 last weekend and am very pleased with it. The best price/performance I think you’ll find at present. I wasn’t looking at 1080P as I prefer as good a contrast ratio as possible and 1080P screens at the lower price point have poor contrast ratio.
I’m not sure what the last review was on about! I’ve never had a problem with Plasma screens and besides the electonics in most (if not all) TVs are shielded to prevent causing or receiving interference. I have a phone line and internet router sat very close to the screen, no problems...... Read more

No USB video playback support
This television has remarkable picture and sound quality for the price. Unfortunately despite the LG website (and Amazon.co.uk at time of review) advertising video playback through USB input, this model does not have this feature, and can only display jpeg images or play mp3 music files via USB. This was somewhat of a disappointment as it was one of the main reasons I bought the television...... Read more

Excellent motion resolution and black level makes this a steal
This is the best TV in this price range and is likely to remain so until Panasonic release an updated model next year. I calibrated and reviewed one of these for a pro review site and was delighted with the final result. The NeoPDP panel means you’ll get blacks, motion clarity, and viewing angle that LCDs can’t touch, plus the THX picture preset means you can have good quality images straight out of the box without further setup. After a few days of heavy usage, the colour on the TV I reviewed measured almost exactly according to TV mastering standards and has remained so since...... Read more

Toshiba LCD TV
Have had this TV for about 3 weeks now and on the whole am very pleased with it. The picture quality is really goood, it accepts inputs from DVD recorder, laptop via DVI cable, VHS player, media player, all very readily.I have no HD at present but am impressed with the SD quality. The on-line manual is OK but could be a little bit more detailed. We generally view this TV from about 12′ away but it is still very clear and not pixelated at about 5′(and that’s SD format). The remote is fairly basic which is wonderful – unless you want to spend ages looking through a manual to find out how to change settings.
The only disappointment is the sound quality. If you intend to use some surround sound system or use the phono socket to connect to external speakers this isn’t an issue, but don’t rely on the built in speakers to give good audio output.
I am pleased with this purchase and about £100 cheaper from Amazon than high street retailers. Incidentally, the picture quality was unimpressive at one retailer and significantly better (outstanding)at another…..Great Deals Toshiba Regza 42AV635DB 42-inch Widescreen HD ready 1080p LCD TV.....
